MOMA PS1 "THE GOOD, THE BAD and THE MISUNDERSTOOD"

I have yet to visit the Moma PS 1 museum but it is something that i will love to visit. I have read and seen great pictures and comments on the place it self and i feel a place like this can only be best looked upon through your own eyes. This is a place that you have to see if yourself to believe it and one day i will love to visit it. while online information gives you what you need it isn't the same.
A piece of art work i feel is bad art would have to be Darren Bader's "Chicken Burrito, Beef Burrito". This to me is bad art because it really doesn't explain anything, probably doesn't have a connection to something of importance and doesn't mean anything to the artist himself. The artist in my opinion was maybe eating two burritos and decided to just throw and picture together. To me it has really no relevance to things that really concern people.
David Hammons's "America the beautiful" i felt it was a piece of art work i couldn't understand. The image has an American flag warped around something that looks like an animal but at the same time looks like the image of a person because of what seems to be hands. In my opinion it means maybe the freedom of America and what Americans stand for but i really cant see it. Its kind of a image that leaves you questioning what is taking place and what it actually means and that is why i feel this work of art is misunderstood.
One a good art in my opinion would have to be Henry Taylor's " The Long Jump" by Carl Lewis. The reason for me choosing this piece of art as good art would have to be because the image speaks for itself. The image tells you what as occurred and what it means to most. Example you can tell he is a formal athlete who was once in the Olympics. His shirt states he was in the Olympics and the background saying "Gold" shows he as won not only one but a few times.
In conclusion all art work is unique in its own way and that is because it means something to the artist itself. while we might not understand the exact image and meaning of the art the artist does and he or she as a purpose for it and that is why we are all untied to our own opinions. some might thing this piece is bad while other might just love it.
